The "John and Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards" are open to League Alliance member institutions to celebrate outstanding contributions and leadership by community college faculty and staff. Recipients are recognized in a series of activities and promotions, and honoured at special events at the League's Innovations conference each spring.
Bernie Aron was nominated for his exceptional focus on teaching and learning excellence. On receiving news of the award, Bernie stated, “I am honoured to be the recipient of this Excellence Award, the strong, unwavering support provided to me as Program Coordinator of the Paralegal Studies degree program has enabled the program to continue to progress to its fullest potential. This support has inspired me to maximize the students’ experience in each class that I teach.”
Bernie will be honoured at The League of Innovations annual conference in Chicago in March 2016.
