The micro-credential courses in this certificate introduce the “smart” use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the core business functions of finance, human resources, marketing, operations and sales. It focuses on how to proactively deploy tactics specific to each domain, so that management teams can achieve the strategic advantages they need to reach their long-term goals.
Learners will take away a foundational understanding of AI, the impact it has on other parts of the business, as well as how to evaluate and exploit future trends in their own area of specialty. Each course addresses one discrete business goal, leading to a badge of competency.
Artificial Intelligence for Business Administration Micro-credentials are OSAP Eligible
As a learner in this program, you may qualify for financial assistance through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) for Micro-credentials.
- Select and complete the micro-credential OSAP application. You can only be funded for one course at a time through OSAP.
- The deadline to apply for OSAP is the last day of your micro-credential course.
- Enroll in and pay for the micro-credential course you wish to take (if you have not already done so). Please note that funding is sent directly to the learner by the National Student Loans Centre for Micro-Credentials. Payment for the course must be made at the time of registration.
- Once the course has started, we will confirm your enrolment and OSAP funds will be released to your bank account.
- If you have any questions, please contact at finaid@humber.ca or call 416-675-3111 option 4. (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm excluding holidays).
- If you have questions about repayment, please contact the National Student Loans Service Centre for OSAP Micro-credentials program at 1-888-869-2896.

Adam Balwant
Adam has a BBA from University of Toronto and a Master’s in Management Information Systems from The London School of Economics. He is a leading expert in the field of AI. In addition to being an AI consultant, Adam is also a College Professor of Entrepreneurship & Digital Innovation and a serial entrepreneur with his latest venture being the CEO and Co-Founder of Toronto-based edtech start-up Leap.
From the early days of ChatGPT, Adam has been leading workshops and presentations across North America in the education space. He has recently formed trAInify alongside Arman to bring his expertise to training employees in the corporate environment.
Ryan Yulin Ryan
Ryan is a Human Resources and Training guru, receiving his MSc and hBSC from the University of Toronto. With over 7 years of experience in a plethora of companies ranging from edtech to social media and from forestry to medical research, he currently serves as the Director of Operations at The Leap Corporation alongside Neuroscience Specialist at the University of Toronto.
Committed to optimizing workflow with the maximum efficiency in a variety of establishments, Ryan is certainly no stranger to artificial intelligence. Ryan trained dozens of teams on how to use AI such as ChatGPT to prepare workers for a rapidly evolving world, and is ready to help your team thrive in the modern age!
