The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) team conducted a site visit to FGF Brands' North York facility. Renowned for its innovative approach to baking, FGF produces high-quality sweet goods and naan bread by blending cutting-edge technology with traditional methods. This visit strengthened the collaborative partnership between Humber Polytechnic and FGF Brands, emphasizing their shared commitment to fostering student success and industry engagement.
FGF, with operations in Canada and the U.S., exemplifies excellence in large-scale production, supplying retail and food service clients globally. The company’s facilities are a hub of innovation, producing and distributing hundreds of thousands of products daily. Many Humber students have benefitted from placements at FGF, making this visit an invaluable opportunity for the WIL team to observe the production process and assess the real-world learning opportunities available to students.
