The Longo Faculty of Business Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre hosted its annual Insurance and Risk Career Fair on March 27 at Humber’s North Campus. Held in collaboration with the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC), Career Connections and the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO), the event brought together 26 leading industry organizations to connect with Humber students and emerging professionals.
Organized by the WIL Centre team in partnership with Insurance Management Program Coordinator Barbara Lambert and Associate Dean John McNeil, the event served as an opportunity for students to engage directly with the insurance and risk management sector.
While designed primarily for students in the Insurance Management – Property and Casualty program, the event welcomed participants from across disciplines and institutions. More than 480 students attended, including learners from the University of Guelph-Humber, Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Toronto, Seneca College, George Brown College, and others. This broad participation created a dynamic networking environment, offering attendees the chance to explore career paths in one of Canada’s most in-demand industries.
The Longo Faculty of Business extends its appreciation to the participating organizations whose support made the event a success:
