Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP Hosts Career Preparation Session for Legal Students

The Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre partnered with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP to deliver a successful student engagement event on November 26th. The session featured Stefi Rodrigo, Manager of Legal Secretarial Services and Alise Le Blanc, Talent Acquisition Specialist, who met with students from the Law Clerk and Bachelor of Paralegal Studies Degree programs for an informative career-focused presentation.

Stefi and Alise provided an inside look at Osler’s recruitment and application processes for work-integrated learning placements and new graduate roles. Their guidance covered key expectations for upcoming opportunities, strategies for preparing competitive applications, and insights into the transition from classroom learning to early career roles within the legal sector.

Both speakers encouraged students to connect with them for additional questions or personalized advice. Attendees left with a clearer understanding of how to showcase their strengths, navigate the hiring process effectively, and pursue Legal Assistant pathways within one of Canada’s leading national law firms.
