The Longo Faculty of Business Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre organized and hosted a Supply Chain Career Fair on March 26th at the Lakeshore campus, attracting a significant turnout of over three hundred students.

The event served as a valuable networking and recruitment opportunity for students interested in careers in purchasing, logistics, supply chain management, international business, and global business. Thirteen employer partners, including Amazon, OECM, Costco, Stanley Black & Decker, NTN Canada, Rome Transportation, Walmart Canada, Shift Transit, Trimac Transportation Services, Mainfreight, CCL Label and Beacon Roofing Supply, participated in the fair.

Students presented their resumes and cover letters, seizing the chance to engage with potential employers directly. Notably, several students secured employment opportunities on the spot, underscoring the event's effectiveness as a platform for immediate recruitment.

The success of the event reflects the commitment of the Longo Faculty of Business to welcome more industry partners to campus and foster strong connections between students and potential employers.
