The journey from student to industry professional is one filled with challenges, growth, and achievements. For Nima Esfahani, a proud graduate of the Business Management program, this journey has come full circle. Returning to campus not as a student, but as an employer, Nima’s visit was a testament to the strong industry connections fostered at Humber Polytechnic.

Now a Business Development Advisor at a thriving company, Q Engineering, Nima visited the campus to host an information session and a pop-up recruitment booth, offering on-the-spot interviews to current students. His presence was an inspiration, providing invaluable insights into career paths, industry expectations, and the transition from academia to the workplace.

The most rewarding aspect of this visit was witnessing an alumnus actively shaping students' futures. Nima's generous offer of four placement positions for students was a reflection of his confidence in the caliber of talent nurtured at the Longo Faculty of Business. Opportunities like these not only validate the strength of the programs but also reinforce the vital bridge between education and industry.

"It was a pleasure to be back on campus and connect with students who are eager to take their next steps into the business world," Nima shared. "Supporting the next generation and seeing their enthusiasm was incredibly rewarding. I look forward to welcoming some of them into our team."

The event was a great success, and the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) faculty are grateful to Nima for his time, mentorship, and commitment to giving back. His return as an employer highlights the power of alumni engagement and the lifelong impact of Humber's network. The WIL team look forward to fostering more such connections and continuing to celebrate the success of our graduates as they shape the future of business.
