On April 2, the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre hosted its annual Legal Networking Event, designed to support students in the Law Clerk and Paralegal programs. The well-attended event provided a valuable platform for students to connect directly with employers offering WIL opportunities and potential career paths.

Students had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with all participating employers, gaining insight into organizational cultures, open positions, and recruitment processes. Notably, five of the attending organizations were represented by Humber alumni—now professionals in the field—who returned to give back and support the next generation of legal talent.

Humber Polytechnic extends sincere thanks to the following partners for contributing to the event’s success:

  • Aird & Berlis LLP
  • Calvin Barry Professional Corporation
  • Canada Border Services Agency
