On November 14, the Humber Society of Accounting Students (HSAS) and the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre hosted an employer pop-up event at the Lakeshore campus. The event brought together approximately 80 students from accounting diploma, degree, and postgraduate certificate programs, offering them a valuable networking opportunity.

Representatives from top firms including BDO, MNP, The Investment Administration Solution Inc., and Grant Thornton were on hand to engage with students. For two hours, they discussed their hiring practices, offered insights into the accounting industry, and provided an opportunity for students to present their resumes and explore potential job opportunities.

The WIL Centre looks forward to continuing its collaboration with HSAS and other student associations to offer similar events that bridge the gap between education and career opportunities for students.
