WE (Woodbine Entertainment) organized an open house event for hospitality students on November 24th. Twenty students participated in the event and were given the opportunity to meet with hospitality leaders and experience live operations throughout various departments at WE.
The department leaders led students on a site tour where they visited the culinary, guest experience, racing and dining, casino operations, QSRs (quick services restaurants) operations, and were served dinner prepared by WE chefs.
Students also visited the paddock area where they met with jockeys and their horses. A notable highlight of the day was visiting the post-parade, where students were fascinated to see the antique mahogany furniture and Queen Elizabeth’s suite.
Everyone in attendance demonstrated immense appreciation and had an interest in becoming part of the Woodbine team.
