Representatives from the Florence University of the Arts (FUA) joined the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre on February 12th to provide interested students with information on working virtually with the university.
FUA has been a long-time partner with the Longo Faculty of Business, providing students with study abroad opportunities. However, this year, they have opened their doors to engage with students of various business program backgrounds to work remotely.
The information session hosted over fifty interested students and offered valuable insights into what remote experiential learning would entail as well as what FUA has to offer. Students were well engaged and eager to participate.
Overall, the event was a tremendous success! Forty-four Longo Faculty of Business students were accepted to participate in a virtual internship with FUA.
The WIL centre is excited to continue working closely with FUA.
