RBC Meeting Place Holds Informative Job Search Workshops
This past summer, RBC Meeting Place joined the Work-Integrated Learning Centre to provide two outstanding workshops for students.
The first workshop, Leveraging Social Media for Job Search, was held on June 17th and featured Maheen Memon from LinkedIn. Maheen interacted with students and provided expert advice on how to use LinkedIn to build networks while looking for opportunities.
The second workshop, Job Search 101, was held on July 8th and had RBC Professionals engage with students to provide them with excellent tips on how to find the perfect position.
Both sessions were held virtually and were well attended. Students gained useful knowledge necessary for navigating their job search and career paths. They were also able to interact directly with industry professionals.
