Our International Students Have Arrived!

Longo Faculty of Business welcomed 60 exchange students and Ningbo students to Humber for the winter semester. We are thrilled to have these two unique groups of students back on campus!

On December 20th, the first group of 30 students from the joint Humber/Ningbo program were met at Pearson airport. While a bit tired and cold, the students were very excited to make it to Canada. The current cohort has been studying online since the Orientation Program started in August 2021. The students are looking forward to meeting their professors and learning in person, applying to partner Universities, and exploring all of the activities that Toronto and the surrounding area have to offer. We will be on campus as of January 24th, so if you are on Lakeshore Campus, please stop in and say hello!

Longo Faculty of Business is also happy to welcome 30 exchange students who will study at Humber in winter 2022. The students represent partner schools in Denmark, France, Sweden, Japan, the UK, Bulgaria, Ireland, Iceland, Jamaica, and Finland. Most of the students are enrolled in Bachelor programs though there are three studying Culinary Management. The exchange students have reported that they have enjoyed their first week of classes. Outside of class, they are hungry to enjoy life in Toronto even braving the cold to meet up at outdoor patios! Longo Faculty of Business has a variety of cultural activities planned for this group.
