Humber Partners With GTAA for Future Immersive Learning Opportunities

On September 26th, the Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) hosted an Open House for work-integrated learning representatives from post-secondary institutions across the province.

Work-integrated learning is a model and process of experiential education which formally and intentionally integrates a student’s academic studies with learning in a workplace or practice setting.

Placement Advisor, Sheena Ordinario attended the interactive and informational networking event. Sheena was able to promote Humber programs and students, as well as learn about work-integrated learning prospects with the GTAA.

The Open House featured testimonials from past co-op students who are now successful full-time employees with the GTAA. Upcoming student opportunities were discussed along with an exciting behind the scenes tour of the airport.

We are eager to grow and develop our partnership with the GTAA!
