Chefs Teach Students How to Become Food Waste Heroes

On Monday, October 21st, Humber chefs and students visited Fern Avenue Public School in Toronto to teach students about helping reduce food waste in honour of Worldchefs International Chefs Day 2019. Since 2004, Worldchefs has been committed to celebrating culinary arts with the next generation.

The learning experience was a success leaving a group of 26 grade 6 students with great ideas and plans on how to become "Food Waste Heroes" in their cafeteria and homes.
