The Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship hosted students from Etobicoke Collegiate Institute and Kingsway College School for the Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) high school workshop. Facilitated by Leader-in-Residence Sahana Srikandarajah, the workshop focused on ideation, providing students with insights into entrepreneurship. Through engaging discussions and personal stories shared by the Longo CfE team, participants were able to connect their ideas to real-world entrepreneurial experiences, sparking inspiration for their own ventures.

Both schools will continue their involvement in the BYOB program, with students preparing to compete in the high school edition of the BYOB video pitch competition for a chance to win a share of $6,500 to help launch their business ideas. The program offers an exciting platform for aspiring young entrepreneurs to explore their potential.

Stay tuned for the upcoming Longo Family BYOB High School Bootcamp in November.
