Longo Family Be Your Own Boss Program Wraps With 85 Pitches

The Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) program successfully concluded its 2024–2025 run, engaging a total of 487 participants from both Humber Polytechnic and local high schools. Launched in September 2024, the program delivered a series of seven interactive workshops designed to help students evaluate their entrepreneurial ideas and explore the foundational steps of launching a business.

The program’s impact was demonstrated through the high level of participation and enthusiasm, culminating in 85 high-quality video pitch submissions for the competition. These submissions showcased the creativity, innovation, and leadership of the next generation of entrepreneurs.
