The Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) Program concluded with the submission of video pitches from student entrepreneurs who completed five out of the seven workshops. Beginning in September, workshops at the  Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) offered students the chance to attend sessions in person at both Lakeshore and North campuses.

In addition to the workshops organized by the Longo CfE, professors from the Longo Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Media and Creative Arts, and the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness integrated the BYOB workshops into their entrepreneurship courses.

With over two hundred students reached, participants gained valuable insights on idea assessment and the first steps toward launching a new venture. The video pitch competition offers student entrepreneurs the chance to win up to $15,000 to continue their entrepreneurial endeavours.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the competition winners in April.
