International Exchange Students Celebrate Semester End with Skating Party

HLOs: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging IconCommunication Icon

The Longo Faculty of Business hosted an end-of-semester celebration for international exchange students at Nathan Phillips Square, where students from various global partnerships gathered for a fun Canadian winter tradition. Participants included exchange students from the National University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT), the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), and Humber partnership schools in Europe.

Many students, some with little to no experience on the ice, showed great enthusiasm and teamwork, embodying the true spirit of Humber Polytechnic. As they skated, the students reflected on their time at Humber, highlighting the welcoming and approachable nature of the faculty and staff. They appreciated the unique opportunity to make real-world connections with people from all over the world.

We wish this current group of bright and talented Humber inbound exchange students all the best in their endeavours.
