Inspiring Future Entrepreneurs: Longo Family Be Your Own Boss – High School Edition

The Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) was thrilled to welcome a new group of high school students from Kingsway College School to the Longo Family Be Your Own Boss Workshop Series for High School Students, hosted at Humber’s Lakeshore Campus this past month.

Throughout the workshop, students were introduced to the exciting world of entrepreneurship. They explored key concepts such as ideation, customer discovery, and prototyping, gaining hands-on experience as they turned creative ideas into viable business concepts.

After completing the workshop series, students will have the opportunity to participate in the Video Pitch Competition in March 2026, where they can showcase their ideas and compete for a share of $6,500 in prize funding.
