Industry Networking Event Opens Doors for Students
With a continuing effort to prepare students for a successful career launch, the annual industry networking event was organized for Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management and Hospitality and Tourism Operations Management program students.
On November 21st, over 20 carefully selected industry professionals were on hand to provide students with opportunities and information regarding current trends in the field. Among the industry professionals included successful Humber graduates who helped students expand their contacts and hone their networking skills.
The format was a combination of intimate settings in small groups supported by a larger networking session held at the Barrett Centre for Technology and Innovation. This event is complemented by the upcoming annual alumni event held in the winter semester.
