The alumni event hosted by the Hospitality and Tourism Management programs was a resounding success, creating a platform for unparalleled networking opportunities and forging meaningful connections. Attended by over two hundred and fifty students, the event brought together seasoned professionals and enthusiastic students, all united by their shared passion for their Humber education and the hospitality and tourism industry.

The panel discussion featured alumni who have excelled in various sectors, including hotel management, event planning, food service, and the travel industry. Their insights into industry trends and career development were invaluable, providing students with a clearer vision of their professional pathways.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students mingled with alumni who have made significant strides in the industry. These interactions were more than just casual conversations; they were gateways to future career prospects and collaborations.

The networking session was particularly impactful, fostering meaningful dialogues that allowed students to engage with alumni, ask pertinent questions, and seek advice tailored to their aspirations. Many students left with not just business cards and LinkedIn connections but with concrete opportunities for internships and mentorships, with several securing interviews for summer internships at top hotels.

Furthermore, the alumni event underscored the strength of the hospitality and tourism community. The shared experiences and stories of success fostered a sense of camaraderie and inspiration, demonstrating the eagerness of alumni to give back and offer guidance to the next generation of hospitality leaders.
