Guest Speaker Provides Digital Interview Tips for Students
On June 25th, the Work-Integrated Learning Centre welcomed Saiyaf Alli, Senior Advisor of Talent Acquisition from Desjardins.
He joined postgraduate students to share information on the changes in interviewing protocols due to the pandemic, and how to prepare for them effectively. Saiyaf encouraged students to be prepared for virtual interviewing and to get comfortable being in front of a camera. He also shared resources on how to answer behavioral and difficult questions.
Students were encouraged to develop their self-awareness to help highlight their skills to a potential employer and to better understand how they fit into the role and company of the job being interviewed for.
