From Startup to Success: Navigating Entrepreneurship with Longo CfE Support

Bei Yong, a driven entrepreneur and participant in the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (Longo CfE) programs, has achieved remarkable growth through her ventures, LingoLand and 3E Productions. Her journey began with the Longo Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) program, where she developed LingoLand, a multiplayer language-learning game that earned her a $5,000 award in the 2024 Longo Family BYOB Video Pitch Competition.

As artificial intelligence (AI) technology advanced, Bei leveraged her participation in the Longo Innovate & Create Entrepreneurship (ICE) program to pivot her vision. She founded 3E Productions, a platform dedicated to personal storytelling through film, showcasing her ability to adapt and innovate in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Through the BMO Launch Me Entrepreneurship program, Bei tackled new challenges, conducted in-depth research, and made strategic pivots to expand 3E Productions’ scope. Her efforts included integrating smartphone-powered real-time rendering and enhancing the customer experience, solidifying the platform’s potential for growth and impact.

Today, Bei’s entrepreneurial journey has come full circle. Having launched and grown her business, she is now preparing to offer Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) placements to Humber students, providing them with valuable opportunities to gain hands-on experience.

The Longo CfE congratulates Bei Yong on her achievements and looks forward to witnessing the continued success of 3E Productions. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance, innovation, and the transformative impact of entrepreneurship programs.
