From Idea to Reality: Longo Family Be Your Own Boss Competition Awards Brightest Innovators

The results are in for the Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) Video Pitch Competition, marking the culmination of months of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. Since September 2023, over four hundred and fifty students engaged in BYOB workshops both in class and at the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE), resulting in more than fifty impressive video pitch submissions. With $46,500 in prize funding available, judges Jenny and Thomas Longo selected four winners from Humber College and four from local high schools, making the Longo Family BYOB Celebration event an evening filled with anticipation.
Congratulations to all participants who dedicated their time to the workshops and submitted their video pitches, with special recognition for the eight winners who secured funding.
