Embracing Global Diversity: H106 Showcases Multicultural Celebrations

Lakeshore campus boasts a vibrant hub of cultural celebrations at office space H106, curated by Personal Support Officer (PSO) Jem Cain. With an unwavering commitment to promoting inclusivity, Jem transforms the office to honour various global festivities throughout the year, showcasing a tapestry of cultural traditions.

The current festive ambiance at H106 captures the spirit of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. However, Jem's dedication extends far beyond these, encompassing many cultural events like Diwali, the Summer Equinox, Halloween, Pride Month, Indigenous Month, and numerous other significant celebrations.

Although not officially affiliated with the Longo Faculty of Business Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, Jem embodies its core values. Her commitment resonates in her endeavour to create a welcoming space, ensuring that every student finds a representation of their heritage and celebrations upon visiting the Lakeshore office.

Jem's efforts exemplify the spirit of unity and cultural richness, reflecting the college's commitment to fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated and embraced.
