In collaboration with the Office of Equity Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB), the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), and the SEED Initiative, the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) hosted an entrepreneurship event aimed at empowering BIPOC communities within the cannabis sector.

The ‘Become a Cannabis CEO’ event featured an entrepreneurial skills-building session, keynote and panel discussions as well as networking sessions providing industry insights and career advancement strategies.

Attendees were equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in the industry. The event offered a platform for individuals aspiring to establish their cannabis enterprises or progress within the field.

A special thanks to Dr. Yasmin Razack, Dean of EDIB, for her role in facilitating a lively panel discussion exploring entrepreneurship within the cannabis industry.
