On January 27th, the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Centre joined representatives from ULatina (Universidad Latina de Costa Rica) to speak about their virtual internship opportunities available this semester.
Students heard from informative representatives on ULatina initiatives as well as options offered to students. The students learned more about the application process, what their roles would be, how they would engage in Costa Rican culture, and the close work they would be doing with the Casa de los Ninos Foundation.
The event sparked interest from various programs within the Longo Faculty of Business and the internships will provide students with the opportunity to learn from a different culture. With over twenty-five participants, the event was well received and overall a true success!
