BMO Launch Me Program Celebrates 2025 Winners

The 2025 BMO Launch Me Entrepreneurship Program and Pitch Competition concluded with an inspiring showcase of talent from across Humber. Students from diverse programs and backgrounds demonstrated how passion, innovation, and perseverance can turn bold ideas into viable businesses.

The competition, which offered a share of $130,000 in funding, also served as a platform for students to refine key professional skills, including public speaking, networking, and strategic thinking. After months of hard work, 26 finalists presented their business ventures in one of three categories: Women Innovators, Ground Breakers, and New Graduates.

After careful consideration, the judges from BMO and the local entrepreneurial community recognized the following winners for their exceptional presentations:

Women Innovators:

  • 1st Place: Feven Zewdu – Coming to Fruition
  • 2nd Place: Melody Guryn – Go Beyond Therapy
  • 3rd Place: Olivia Drwiega – Liv Digital
  • 4th Place: Chioma Kamalu – Impact Fusion AI
  • 5th Place: Paola Solorzano – Bariactric Savvy

Ground Breakers:

  • 1st Place: Andrew Allan and Reyhan Tressler – EDU-Mechs
  • 2nd Place: Gabriel Abass – The Refillable Fragrance Bracelet
  • 3rd Place: Phillip Matthews Kling Torres – Hola Cafe & Market
  • 4th Place: Sameer Hinduja – Rootsy
  • 5th Place: Elisha Sinclair-Russel – A.I.M. Respite Retreat

New Graduates:

  • 1st Place: Joanna Harding-Duggan – JHD Coaching
  • 2nd Place: Jovin Varghese Manjaly – Stepseed AI
  • 3rd Place: Dillon Lewis – Trendsettaz
  • 4th Place: Zachary Ndungu – Family Blanky
