A Day in the Life at Goodmans

The Work-Integrated Learning Centre in Partnership with Goodmans LLP hosted “A Day in the Life at Goodmans” event on the evening of November 12th. Select law clerk and paralegal students from colleges across the Greater Toronto Area were invited to attend including twelve from Humber.

Humber students in attendance included Glenn Aubrey, Tennetia Blair, Chris Elsworthy, Samantha Ferreira, Hassan Idriss, Leslie Jansson, Josephine Kameja, Lashika Shanthalingam, Sydney Skerritt, Althea Elizabeth Swales, Tanya Tang, Catherine Xing, and their Placement Advisor, Mary Anne Myers.

The evening began with a warm welcome as well as a wine and cheese mix and mingle. Some of the Goodmans' Legal Assistants and HR Representatives spent time answering questions about their experiences and various roles. Students attended presentations about the firm’s onboarding process, the people and culture. This was shortly followed by a tour of Goodmans litigation department.
