Sanjukta brings extensive experience as a Placement Advisor to her role at the Longo Faculty of Business since 2013. In her current capacity, she designs, develops, and delivers workshops to graduating students, equipping them with skills to establish connections with employers for their curriculum-based work-integrated learning endeavours. With a commitment to empowering students to transition into the competitive job market, Sanjukta is dedicated to assisting all students, including international students, in recognizing and achieving their full potential.
Why is networking so important and what advice/tips would you give students to make meaningful connections with employers?
Sanjukta is a dedicated proponent of networking, maintaining a commitment to engaging with people in the community and continually expanding her own experiential knowledge. Emphasizing the importance of relationship building, she consistently advises students to nurture connections and seek guidance when needed. Reaching out for assistance not only demonstrates trust in others but also acknowledges their value, expertise and opinions. Sanjukta encourages students to leverage these interactions as they navigate their career paths and strive for professional advancement.
