Red Lobster offers a condensed manager in training program that provides students with training from an experienced team and the potential for employment after the program. The program is typically 7-11 weeks in length.

What benefits has Red Lobster seen in hiring students for a work placement?

In general, Red Lobster has seen a great ability to learn quickly and progress through the organization. Also, students bring new perspectives into the organization and find new ways of completing tasks. One example is a Humber College student named Natasha who started as an intern with Red Lobster and progressed all the way to a General Manager role.

What is the value of attending Career Fairs/industry events?

Career fairs provide quick access to opportunity for both employers and students. These events allows companies to meet the right person for their needs (and vice versa), allowing for a quick hiring cycle.
