Zhiquan (Harold) Pan, an Insurance Management Program student at Humber College was recently presented two awards by the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) for his academic excellence in the Chartered Insurance Professional Program (CIP) in 2017/2018.
Harold was awarded the Tretiak Award by the IIC for being the top academic student in Canada in a full-time insurance program.
In addition, Harold was also awarded the Gerald E. Hackett Memorial Prize for achieving the highest marks in his first five CIP courses, which is sponsored by Crawford and Company (Canada) Inc.
Nine years ago Harold came to Canada from China, and spent the first seven years of his time here selling furniture until he was drawn to the insurance industry, as he was looking for a stable career that would allow him to see his family more. Immediately Harold took to the world of risk in Humber College’s IMPG, and finished top of class with the Academic Award for Excellence. Currently Harold is a full-time auto/property adjuster at RSA Canada. Congratulations Harold, very well done!
