At the end of March, The Culinary Federation Toronto branch chefs’ association hosted Humber’s first Humberlicious fundraising event. The dinner and networking event was hosted in the Humber Room at the North campus and inspired a fun and interactive atmosphere for staff and professors, chefs, high school culinary teachers and students.

Congratulations to 4th-year students in the Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Program for their success in their Accounting Capstone course. This year, the course had the support of CPA Ontario. Tizy Gunaratne, the CPA representative, helped Accounting Faculty in setting CPA judges for the final Capstone presentations and also provided financial recognition to the student's projects qualifying the first two places.
This past April, MaryJo Tullo, a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing student, was awarded 2nd Place Finalist at DECA's International Career Development Conference in Marketing Management, the most competitive and largest category.

In the Hospitality - Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management program capstone course, HOTL 285 Business Planning and Risk Management, students are provided with real industry scenarios. Applying their knowledge and problem solving techniques, student groups must develop a strategic business plan to address the industry issues.
Grads Give Back is an annual event held by the two-year Business Marketing diploma at Humber College. It welcomes graduates who are working in various careers to speak to final semester students about their paths from Humber and to provide insights, tips, and advice.
