On March 20th, First Semester students from the Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management program visited the Westin Hotel Toronto Airport on a field trip. The trip was part of the student's experiential learning experience. 8 Bachelor of Commerce - Finance students wrote the CFA Level 1 exam in June 2018 and 50% of them passed! This is an excellent result given that on average, over the last 10 years, 40% of those writing the exam passed and most who write the exam are not recent graduates and many are 2nd and 3rd time writers.

The Business School has received approval from the Law Society to allow graduates of paralegal education (Diploma) programs from accredited institutions in Ontario, to be granted advanced standing to enter into year three of the accredited Paralegal Education (Degree) program offered by The Business School.

This time, Parveen’s passion for giving back to society, empower people, enhance capacity and stimulate her own learning pursuit took her to Hanoi, Vietnam. She volunteered through Leave for Change program.

On September 28th, Nottingham Trent University’s International Officer William Burns, held an Information Session for all Humber Fashion Arts students who are interested in their BA International Fashion Business Program. The session was well attended with 30 fashion students. After the presentation and one on one consultations, five Humber students were offered admission on the spot.
