In this course, students examine the process of defining, designing and delivering training and development within the larger human resource area. They develop an understanding of the components of training and development; assessment of need, design and delivery of training activities; assessment of those activities; and marketing training and development to the larger organization. Emphasis within this course is placed on the critical value training and development provides in advancing the strategy and efficiency of the organization.
