This course is designed to serve as an introduction to entrepreneurship. It will introduce the concepts of self-employment, small business ownership and the business plan. The goal of the course is to give students a basic understanding of the considerations involved in deciding to enter independent business and the steps involved in starting a new venture. Emphasis is placed on the benefits of entrepreneurship. At the same time, students will be given the opportunity to develop their skills in problem solving and decision-making.
