This workshop is part 1 of a three part workshop series that works towards an increased understanding of Data Input, Data Analysis, as well as Formulas and Functions to facilitate better workplace applications.
Learn to use Excel features that enhance the input of data and learn to create Excel Macros from the ground up. Emphasis is on the creation of input forms that use Excel’s Data Validation features and Absolute versus Relative Macro Recording capabilities. Create worksheet interface controls to enable end users to direct, control or abort macro processing. Learn to hide and protect worksheets and macro code.
BISM 401 is a pre-requisite for both BISM 402 and BISM 403

1. Streamline Input by using Excel’s “Data Entry” Features
2. Record and Run a Macro; Manage Generated VBA Code and Macro Security
3. Make More Extensive Use of the Visual Basic Editor (VBE)
4. Develop a Database Update Application and Protect What’s Created
