Humber’s Financial Planning certificate program lets you position yourself to take advantage of a growing industry in a very short time. Financial planning is commonplace at most brokerages, mutual fund and full-service dealers, banks, and insurers. Clients increasingly seek financial advice and in many cases have come to expect it. In response, planners need to have detailed knowledge of financial products and services, and deep understanding of their clients’ financial needs, desires and goals. In the certificate program you’ll gain a range of financial planning knowledge plus the opportunity to complete educational and license requirements for financial planning industry designations. This program also addresses your leadership, communications, mentoring, and management skills.
This is one of the most concentrated financial planning programs in Canada leading to licensing and certification programs in the industry. In less than one year you can earn your securities license, life insurance license and the Certified Financial Planner designation.
