Market Yourself

Your ability to market yourself to employers increases your chances of a rewarding career. Not only does Humber’s two-year Marketing diploma provide the fundamental skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for success in the marketing profession, but it also presents networking opportunities and shows potential employers the willingness to go the extra distance. This program fosters understanding of the core elements of business—including, human resources, accounting, finance, and economics—and shows marketing’s integral role in affecting not just business functions but also the success of whole enterprises worldwide. A paid work placement gives students real-world experience in this burgeoning field.

Adapt Your Skills to the Demands of Marketing

You’ll learn to assess customer needs and tailor products for specific niches. While targeting customers effectively, you’ll create distribution, pricing, and promotion strategies. You will take existing communication skills and adapt them to the demands of marketing—whether that means entering into dialogue with customers or practicing good teamwork and project management.

Common Business Platform

This is a business diploma, built on a common platform of a solid business education – principles of management, marketing, business law, finance mathematics and microeconomics. This common business platform is shared with other business diploma programs in year one. Students will then shift their focus and begin working towards their specialization in second year.
