The unpaid placement is completed during the fourth semester. Working with the field placement advisor, students are actively involved in pursuing placement opportunities. They are expected to market themselves to prospective employers and initiate their own placements.
More than half of Ontario’s law clerks are employed in the Greater
Toronto Area (GTA), thanks to Toronto’s concentration of law firms,
governments, courts, finance, insurance and real estate companies and
corporate head offices. You'll have the knowledge and experience to work
in a variety of industries as the need for in-house law clerks
continues to grow.
