Knowing beauty and business can give you the technical skill and solid foundation you need to go after a rewarding career in the cosmetics industry. Humber’s two-year accelerated Cosmetic Management diploma quickly trains you in the retailing, merchandising, marketing, and sales of cosmetics—in addition to teaching practical cosmetic application skills. The cosmetics industry plays a major role in helping people feel and achieve their best, and the industry is growing as more men develop interests in those goals. Whether you choose to work behind the counter or behind the scenes, this program will give you technical and management tools to help others: from brainstorming new ideas for product launches and advising clients on the right choices to applying professional make-up.

A Rare Combination of Beauty and Business

Students benefit from over 450 hours of practical experience including cosmetic application. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the cosmetics industry:

  • Weekly training in fragrance and colour analysis, special effects for film and television

Part-time Option

You can earn this diploma without having to commit to a full-time academic schedule. Enrol in the same courses as our full-time students—at your convenience. Successfully completing the required course work allows you to apply to the diploma program and complete the paid work placement necessary for graduation.
