Increase Your Value to the People in Your Organization

Position yourself to capitalize on one of the most important emerging business trends: the increasing centrality of Human Resources to the health of an organization. The Human Resources Management degree program not only grounds you in the fundamentals such as recruiting, training and development, compensation, and employment law, but it also trains you to think in strategic management terms.

Employing Leadership Skills

As HR becomes more integrated into fundamental business practices, your colleagues and clients will turn to you for guidance and leadership on issues beyond compensation and employee relations. The Human Resources Management degree program gives you opportunities to hone your leadership skills, especially during a 14-week paid work term where you can apply those skills in real-world environments.

Through the program you will:

  • Develop a business plan for a start-up of a new HR department within a company
  • Work on industry-linked projects

Two Years to Build, Two Years to Become.

This is a business degree, built on a common platform of a solid business education – marketing, accounting, operations, economics, and law. This common business platform is shared with other business degree programs in year one and two. In years three and four, you will work toward your specialization. Gain practical skills through applied projects, such as developing business plans for real companies and working on industry-linked assignments. You will have the opportunity to develop processes and products from the idea stage through to execution. You'll learn from experienced faculty and a network of industry professionals.
