It Starts with a Passion for Business and Fashion

Humber’s Fashion Management degree is designed for students interested in the business side of fashion and features a distinctive array of fashion management courses. The emphasis of our fashion management degree is on preparing you for the fashion industry with solid business management skills, with a program focus in areas such as wholesale management, retail operations, or import/export management.

Business Sense Meet Fashion Sense

An in-depth approach to the academic side of fashion concepts and business fundamentals including human resources, marketing, finance along with wholesale management, retail operations, and import/export management. A strong business foundation is at the core of this innovative program that integrates fashion concepts into a traditional business degree.

From Business to Fashion

This is a business degree, built on a common platform of a solid business education – marketing, accounting, operations, economics, and law. This common business platform is shared with other business degree programs in year one and two. In years three and four fashion concepts are integrated into the business curriculum covering every angle of the business of fashion.

Work Term

One full semester of paid work in the summer between semesters six and seven will give you the hands-on experience that is highly valued by employers.

The Fashion Business in Canada

As one of the major fashion centres in Canada, Toronto is a vibrant environment in which to pursue fashion management education. In 2009, the clothing manufacturing sector alone was a $2.4 billion industry for Canada. Moreover, retail stores sold $24.7 billion worth of women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing and accessories that same year. And that’s not even counting import and distribution activities.
