This course is an introductory course in training and development (T&D) that will provide you with an understanding of T&D as a key managerial activity. As well, you will learn how T&D may be used to improve individual and group performance and organizational effectiveness. You will be introduced to current issues surrounding T&D and develop an understanding of the major elements of T&D including needs analysis, program design, training methods and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of an organization's T&D initiatives.
