A career in international sales and marketing or working in a contemporary trading environment in the international trading environment requires selling skills and product knowledge matched by interpersonal skills and individual diplomacy. This course emphasizes consultative selling and partnering as currently practiced in international markets including the roles of field marketing manager, corporate goodwill ambassador and corporate image builder. You must be able to project a dynamic business image incorporating the cultures of the company with the country. You will need to be a strategic planner, co-ordinate sales activities and integrate export efforts as part of the corporate marketing objectives. Emphasis will be on developing confidence and professionalism within the sales transaction and to enhance your communications, listening, team participation and problem-solving skills.
