In a competitive world, nothing affects a company's success or failure more than how well management sets the company's long-term direction and develops and implements effective strategic moves. This course is the first of two capstone courses requiring you to integrate concepts and approaches gained from all previous courses. You will use the case study approach to examine the vision, mission, goals and objectives of a company and analyze its internal resources, and the environment it operates in. You will analyze and use your knowledge from the areas of marketing, finance, operations and management to formulate strategic alternatives leading to a final supported recommendation.
Note: Students who are taking courses on a part-time basis should contact the Business School to enquire about registration into locked courses.
