Build an understanding of the essential general principles and concepts that relate to a real estate transaction. You will discuss various aspects of a typical residential real estate transaction, starting with the agreement of purchase and sale and ending with the closing in the Registry Office. You will understand the place of the mortgage in real estate transactions and the remedies of the mortgagee in the event of default. You will cover new condominium purchases and condominium resales, as well as the use of controls including severances.
