Today's managers must perform the functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling within the context and constraints of environmental and social pressures and demands. You will examine the role of the manager and the skills and techniques needed to achieve organizational objectives through the management of people, money, materials and time. You will be required to demonstrate an understanding of the key principles and functions of management and be able to apply these skills in contemporary business situations.
