You will learn how the basics of supply chain management, production and inventory control are related and how to make the best use of labour, capital and material. Examine how the role of materials manager co-ordinates the flow of materials, maintains customer service and efficiently uses the resources of the company. As well, you will study production planning and scheduling, forecasting, inventory management and physical distribution.
